Hörmann Sectional + Wicket Door

Here we have one of Hörmann’s sectional doors with a built in wicket door. This is a very clever design where the door moves with the sectional door normally but can also be opened independently for that quick access, ideally for garden tools or bicycles. A great feature is that the threshold is only 10mm thick which reduces tripping. The door  is fully automated with a Hörmann Supramatic operator which features a courtesy light & 2 remote controls also obstruction detection. Because of the complex design additional features are added which are infra red photo cell beams and wicket sensor to prevent damage and accidents when the door is moving. On a newly built garage we installed these Hörmann sectional doors. The design is M-Ribbed & they have a foiled finish in Winchetser Oak. They are taller than usual with 5 panels. Another interesting feature is these doors have the additional ThermoFrame kits which adds a further barrier to the outside creating a really good seal. There is also an additional seal across the top panel which presses firmly against the finished wall inside the garage.

These doors are fully automated & powered by 2 Hörmann Supramatic operators which feature 2 remote controls per door, a courtesy light & auto reverse in the event of an obstruction.

On this new site in Dunsby we are fitting these Hörmann sectional doors. The colour is Anthracite Grey & the texture is a woodgrain finish. The design is M-Ribbed which is a popular design, other designs are available too. These doors are manually operated which have a secure lock when the door is pushed down. The doors also feature pull ropes and door brakes so the door will stay in place when the door is pushed open. They can be automated too.

This project was a lovely upgrade to a really good looking garage. We removed the old timber doors & replaced with 2 Hörmann sectional doors. They are fully automated & powered by 2 Hörmann Promatic operators which feature 2 remote controls per door, a courtesy light & auto reverse in the event of an obstruction. The doors are in a Rosewood Decograin finish, looks like real wood but low maintenance. They are 42mm thick so very well insulated. We have finished off by trimming around the brickwork in Rosewood PVC to match the doors & the rest of the house, looks amazing!!

This was a nice update to the property. These are Hörmann sectional doors in a Golden Oak Decograin finishwhich gives an authentic timber look. We have also matched the PVC that surround the doors. The panels are 42mm thick. The design is called M-Ribbed & each door has a thick rubber seal at the bottom to keep the weather & unwanted guests out. The doors travel vertically &turnsat the top which means you can park right up to the garage without the door swinging out. This update took an old, heavy door to a new Hörmann S-Panelled Sectional door fitted with an Hörmann Supramatic operator. This door is fully insulated & is very quiet in its operation. These were 2 Wessex doors in need of updating & we replaced them with 2 Hörmann Sectional doors. These are Georgian design with a woodgrain texture. One of these doors is automatic & one is manual, can you tell which one? These have lovely stainless steel handles to finish them off perfectly. We have added PVC in white to surround the doors.

The doors also have brushed Stainless Steel handles which really complement the doors, they also feel more solid when opening the doors by hand. These doors are manually operated, but can be automated if required.
