We were welcomed with a full tour of the workshop, allowing us to see all that is involved in producing a Bespoke Timber Garage door, all the care & attention to detail, whether it’s a panel- build which uses economical methods where it’s mounted onto a steel or aluminium chassis to give its strength or of solid- build construction which uses traditional joinery methods where a chassis isn’t required, other than for very large doors. All are created by experienced joiners, with years of experience between them, who have an eye for detail & an ability to work with, rather than against the natural properties of selected timbers. They are able to produce the very best wooden garage doors in Cedar, Oak, Accoya® & Idigbo. With a little care timber lasts well & is forgiving of minor knocks & bumps. All fully finished doors are protected by a special base-treatment & UV resistant finishing coats for lasting good looks.
